Lehi Utah was established about five years after the Mormon pioneers arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. It is the sixth oldest town in the state so there has been plenty of development of homes, businesses, and entertainment venues to help fulfill the needs of the area. A few of the major businesses are Alpine Innovations, Cabela’s Retail, Focus IT, Lehi Roller Mills, Metal Mart, MedStar Home Medical, and Thanksgiving Point.
Some of the most popular attractions and activities include: Camp Floyd in Fairfield, Cabela’s, Thanksgiving Point, and the Pony Express. Thanksgiving Point is one of the most popular attractions with a golf course, dinosaur museum, movie theater, and much much more. Every summer people of all ages gather for entertainment and activities at the city celebration known as Lehi Round-Up.
If all the great businesses and attractions aren’t enough to keep you around then the location should. Lehi is within commuting distance to a wide variety of businesses and colleges/universities and is just 23 miles south of Salt Lake City and 12 miles north of Provo.
The population has grown to over 36,885, 19% of which rents. There are about 5,299 homes in Lehi and median income is $66,420. Lehi will normally receive about 27 inches of snow and 11 inches of rain annually. Temperatures will reach a high of 90 degrees in the summer and a low of 15 in the winter on average.
Real Estate in Utah has recently seen many decreases. Prices of homes in Lehi slipped about 19% last quarter.
