Nostalgia with Hanoi specialties at Square One

Park Hyatt Saigon is delighted to bring a fresh Northern wind flow to Saigon with the Hanoi Food Promotion starting from 24 October 2008 until 8 November 2008 at Square One restaurant located on the mezzanine floor.
Thinking of Hanoi, people immediately feel the antiquity and simplicity of the capital with small little streets and alleys and the diverse, rich and colorific cultural traits and lifestyles of this part of the country, known as the cradle of Vietnamese culture and cuisine. Hanoi food is simple yet delicate, which, however, with the sophisticated and meticulous preparation of Square One’s chefs, seems to enclose the whole Hanoian spiritual delicacy.
At Square One, Vietnamese cuisine connoisseurs can once again catch the familiar images of the Hanoi old town and the typical, unmistakable Northern taste. The menu includes as appetizers The soup Deep Fried Shrimp and Sweet Potato Cake; Spring Roll with Pork, Crab, Mushroom, Spring Onion and served with Fish Sauce; Steamed Rice Paper; Tiger Prawn and Kohlrabi Salad. Soup menu is presented with Clam and Dill Soup with Turmeric and Tomatoes; and Glass Noodle Soup and Eel. Main course menu has Braised Snail mixed with Pork, Tofu, Green Banana and Mixed Herbs; Wok Fried Scallops; and Stewed Pork with Shrimp Paste, Fermented Rice, Galangal and Lemon Grass.
