Thang Long royal citadel proposed for world cultural heritage recognition

Hanoi has finalized documentations on the Thang Long royal citadel, which will be submitted to UNESCO for considering as a world cultural heritage.
Hanoi authorities have proposed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Cultural Herigate Council to contribute their ideas on the file after collecting opinions from scientists, historians and experts at home and abroad.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Cultural Herigate Council will be the last agencies that consider the documentations before the file is submitted to the UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee.
