Hanoi to inaugurate first private theatre
Bao Son Youth Theatre, the first private theatre, with a capacity of 10 thousands of people will open to visitors on the occasion of the National Independence Day (Sept.2).
Apart from sea-hog and water music performance, it will become a flat stage for play and music performance when entering a button. There will also be 350-seat gastronomy stage and a modern stage for aerial acrobatics.
The theatre will focus on variety shows for both domestic and foreign audiences, said its director Tran Tien Thuat.
It will also attract students from universities and colleges to regular cultural activities. Comedies will be staged. And foreign bands and artists will be invited to take part in performances.
The theatre will participate in programmes of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism, stage festivals, exchanges with different countries.
