Can Hue royal dance become intangible cultural heritage?

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has proposed the central province of Thua Thien-Hue to register two heritages, including outstanding royal dances and Hue royal festivals.
The proposal has been given after initial success of the preservation and promotion of the oral and intangible cultural masterpiece of human beings – Hue royal music.
Over the past years, outstanding royal dances have been promoted by the center for the preservation of Hue ancient capital relics. They have also been researched and restored successfully during Hue festival 2008.
This is a foundation for the center to register and make scientific profile on this form of art to propose UNESCO for recognition of intangible cultural heritage of human beings.
